Zaraiah Grace fills the world with laughter and light. She was born with many rare medical diagnoses, and her journey has never been easy. Yet every single day, she wakes up smiling—and ends it the same way: with a giggle, a grin, and a heart full of joy.

She adores music, and her eyes light up whenever Bluey, Moana, Encanto, or Peppa Pig comes on. However, outdoors is where Zaraiah truly comes alive—especially at the all-ability park, where she explores and plays without limits. Those moments under the open sky are her freedom, her joy, her celebration of life.

Even in the hospital, Zaraiah’s presence is like sunshine. Nurses, doctors, and even housekeeping staff stop by just to see her smile. She’s not just a patient—she’s family to them, touching every life she encounters.

This January, Zaraiah will celebrate her 10th birthday. She continues to inspire everyone lucky enough to know her with her strength, joy, and radiant spirit.

Oakley’s inspiring journey of strength and resilience following her miracle heart transplant has touched so many lives. She reminds us daily of the power of hope and community.

On August 16th, Oakley will join us at the 7th Annual Abbey Lights Up COTA Gala, a special evening filled with compassion and connection. She’ll take the stage to introduce our 2025 Butterfly Grant recipient and share her own story, adding a deeply personal and uplifting note to the night.
