Abigail E. Keller Foundation Donates to create New Hospice Pediatric Special Needs Fund

It is with great pleasure that the Abigail E. Keller Foundation support Hospice Austin in creating the Abigail E. Keller Pediatric Special Needs Fund with a seed donation of $5,000.00. It is such a wonderful way to honor Abigail’s memory and help other terminally ill children and their families.
The Abigail E. Keller Foundation is committed to supporting programs and organizations that serve the rare, undiagnosed, terminally ill, and medically complex/fragile pediatric community. We hope this Fund will allow Hospice Austin to provide emergency assistance to families who are caring for a terminally ill child in the midst of severe financial distress. This specific set of funds will allow Hospice Austin to assist families with basic needs such as medications, housing, food, utility costs, and special equipment not covered by insurance.
We look forward to starting this new fund and continued partnership with Hospice Austin in helping care and support these children and their families that seek friendship, guidance, resources and more as they care for their precious child during the difficult times.
